how would you feel?Working with experts on improving wellbeing for people living with dementia from the Social Care Institute of Excellence and King’s College London, we created micro-dramas to both build empathy and demonstrate person-centred care. With an audience of learners who are working in a stressful environment and who may speak English as a second language, it was important to create an impact with clear visuals in a short timeframe.

Good personalised care can seem effortless - the caregiver appears to simply have a good relationship with the person living with dementia. Drama can be used to ‘label the parts’ and break down the micro-behaviours into learnable skills.
