Case Study

A shared language for change

A senior leadership team needed to open up discussion about new ways of working across cultures and languages.

The challenge was to create a shared understanding without relying on corporate change language. People needed a way to recognise what was being asked of them, and to talk about adaptation in practical terms.

We developed a simple fairytale metaphor: a giant learning from smaller, more agile sprites. The story gave the organisation a shared image for the change, making the challenge easier to grasp and harder to forget.

Our role combined storytelling, learning design and production. We worked with the client to turn a complex organisational shift into a clear narrative that could travel across different teams, cultures and contexts.

The metaphor created a safe distance from the subject. Instead of telling teams how they should change, it gave them a way to explore size, speed, habit, agility and adaptation through characters and situations.

The result was a memorable learning and communication experience that helped teams discuss new ways of working without falling back on abstract change language.
