Challenging the beliefs that hold people back

An inclusion taskforce wanted people to feel more confident contributing at work. The challenge was to create a learning experience that could help people recognise the doubts and assumptions that stop them speaking up, sharing ideas or taking part.

We developed a series of exaggerated characters that brought familiar inner doubts to life. Each character represented a different limiting belief: the voice that says you are not ready, not senior enough, not expert enough, or that your contribution will not be welcome.

Our role combined learning design, character development, storytelling and production. We worked with the client to create a format that felt playful and accessible, while still addressing something serious: the different ways people can hold themselves back at work.

By turning internal hesitation into visible characters, the learning gave people a way to recognise their own patterns, question their assumptions and practise a different response.

The result was a learning experience that helped people talk about confidence and participation.
