Case study
What people really think
An EMEA-wide business was rolling out a new internal tool and needed to encourage stronger adoption across teams.
The challenge was not simply to explain the tool. People were already forming their own reactions: hesitation, frustration, curiosity, scepticism or quiet uncertainty. The organisation needed a way to bring those responses into the open without making people feel judged.
Helping teams talk honestly about change adoption.
We created a series of unusual characters in familiar office situations. Each character represented a recognisable response to the rollout, allowing people to see their own reactions reflected without feeling directly singled out.
Our role combined change communication, learning design, character development and production. We worked with the client to identify the barriers to adoption, then turned them into scenarios that felt playful, specific and easy to discuss.
The characters helped make hidden reactions visible. Instead of asking people directly whether they were resisting the change, the learning gave teams a shared language for talking about hesitation, frustration, curiosity and confidence.
The result was a distinctive change communication resource that helped teams discuss the rollout more openly and move towards more confident adoption.
