ALIVE in Conversation is a library of filmed scenes based on recognisable and familiar situations from work and everyday life.

Each film can be watched first as a story. What is happening between these people? What does each person need? Where does the conversation begin to change?

A second viewing looks more closely at the choices being made: what is asked, what is heard, what is assumed, what is acknowledged and what remains possible. Viewers can also listen in on the thinking of the person trying to apply ALIVE and discover more about the experiences and motivations each person brings to the conversation.

Real conversations cannot be reduced to formulas or model answers. ALIVE in Conversation invites viewers to notice more, consider different interpretations and think about how they might approach a similar conversation in a way that feels natural and authentic to them.
