Case Study

Helping teams talk about behaviour

A development team wanted to make workplace behaviour easier to talk about.

The challenge was to create a learning experience that could open up sensitive conversations without making people feel exposed or lectured. The subjects were familiar: communication, pressure, assumptions, meetings, feedback, and the small behaviours that affect how teams work together.

A pink fluffy puppet with eyes are made of two white table tennis balls. It has it's mouth open.

A shared way to notice workplace behaviour
without feeling accused

We created a series of puppet-led films that brought recognisable workplace scenarios to life. The puppet characters gave the learning a distinctive tone: playful enough to lower defensiveness, but truthful enough for people to recognise the dynamics being explored.

Our role combined learning design, storytelling and production. We worked with the client to identify the moments teams would recognise, then developed short scenarios that made those behaviours visible and easier to discuss.

The films were designed to support facilitated conversations. By watching workplace dynamics play out through characters, teams could talk more openly about communication and behaviour without feeling singled out.

The result was a learning experience that helped teams reflect on how they work together and what they might choose to do differently.
